Do Cascade water heaters have a warranty period?
We provide 5 years warranty on the water heater tank (leak or rust) and 2 years warranty on the electrical parts (thermostat, cutout, heating element, and wiring).
Does hard water affect the performance of Cascade geysers?
All models of Cascade water heaters are suitable for both soft and hard water.
How do I choose the mounting type for my geyser?
Most Cascade water heaters offer dual mounting options — the right one depends on the location of your inlet/outlet pipes and the space between the ceiling and inlet point. Call 1800 425 0115 (toll-free) and we’ll help you figure it out.
How long does a Cascade water heater last?
We have customers using Cascade water heaters — both electric and solar — for more than 25 years without any issues.
How do I choose the right material and capacity for me?
Material — Stainless Steel or ABS (Aesthetic Brawn Series). ABS is cheaper; stainless steel is more visually premium. Performance and durability are the same across both.
Capacity — Depends on how many people will use it. On average, one person uses about 10–15 litres of hot water per shower.

What would my electricity charges be for an electric water heater?
A storage geyser consumes 2kW per hour; an instant geyser consumes 3kW per hour.
What is the water pressure requirement for Cascade water heaters?
All our water heaters run on gravity pressure and need the tank at least 6 feet above the outlet point. Tuffy Max Surge withstands up to 10 bar — among the highest pressure compatibility in India. Most other models handle 8–9 bar; check the specific product page for exact figures.
When should I choose a solar water heater instead of electric?
It depends on upfront cost, long-term savings, available roof space, and family size. Solar costs more initially but typically pays for itself in electricity savings within about 6 years — worthwhile if you’re not planning to move houses often. You’ll need at least 5 sq. ft. of roof space, and it tends to make the most sense for families of 5 or more. Call 1800 425 0115 if you want help deciding.
How do I choose the right water heater capacity for my home?
On average, one person uses about 15L of hot water per shower.

| 10L | 2–3 persons |
